Tips for reading Busy Bee aloud

01
Read slowly

Pause at key moments and let children sit with what just happened. Silence creates space for reflection.

02
Ask open questions

"What do you think the bee was feeling?" lets children express themselves rather than hunt for a right answer.

03
Connect to real life

"Has something like this ever happened to you?" links the story to your child's own experience.

04
Re-read often

Children love repetition. Each re-read unlocks new details and deeper conversations.

"

Busy Bee has transformed our morning circle time. The children ask for the discussion questions now โ€” they're hungry for the conversation.
